Julia Langner, LPC-MHSP(t)
I am a trauma-focused therapist who helps individuals heal from:
I also specialize in working with creatives in the music industry. My partnerships with Backline, Touring Career Workshop, and Music Health Alliance has allowed me to provide uniquely tailored care often with financial assistance via grants. If you need help connecting with one of these organizations, reach out!
What’s a session with me like?
Collaborative. Curious. Client-centered.
We will work together in the first few sessions to identify your goals for counseling and create a road map for our work together.
I’ll guide our time with gentle and compassionate curiousity. AKA, I ask a lot of questions. I believe you know you better than anyone else. But, life happens and makes that self-knowing a little bit messy. We will roll up our sleeves and sort through the messiness together, putting language to your experiences so you can understand yourself better and find your own answers.
When it’s appropriate, I’ll bring in some psycho-education and coping skills too (I love a good attachment style or nervous system regulation convo). If you’re curious about the therapeutic modalities I use, keep scrolling below or feel free to reach out to better understand what I use and why!
You in? Let’s get to work.
